Trail Etiquette and Safety

  • Bicyclists should yield to walkers
  • Keep right and pass left
  • Announce “on your left” before passing
  • Avoid stopping and blocking the path
  • Dispose of all trash properly
  • Be courteous to others regardless of their mode, speed or skill level
  • Stay on trail; respect private property that adjoins the trail
  • Call 911 for emergencies and reference the mile marker
